Allow me to introduce myself. I'm Lina, a Moroccan 12th grader with a passion for literature, particularly poetry and English literature. My journey with the English language began early on, thanks to my father, who is an English teacher. Growing up, I immersed myself in books and music, using them as my primary tools for learning.
From the age of 11, I found solace and expression in writing poetry. Now, at 17, I'm onto my second philosophical book, weaving together my observations and musings into thought-provoking narratives.
As someone who cherishes the written word, I aim to infuse my classes with the same passion and creativity that fuel my own pursuits. I hope to create an environment where learning feels both comfortable and engaging, tailored to your preferences and needs. Let's embark on this journey together, where literature becomes more than just words on a page—it becomes a doorway to new worlds and ideas.

As an English teacher, my instructional plan aims to provide a comprehensive learning experience, incorporating both the predefined school curriculum and an optional personalized program tailored to individual needs. Here's how this plan operates:
1. Predefined School Curriculum:
The predefined school curriculum serves as the foundation of our teaching. It follows the guidelines established by educational authorities and covers essential language skills such as grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, listening comprehension, as well as speaking and writing proficiency. This curriculum provides a solid framework for learners, enabling them to develop basic language skills necessary for effective communication in English.
2. Optional Personalized Program:
In addition to the predefined curriculum, we offer an optional personalized program that caters to the individual needs of learners. This personalization is crucial as each learner has their own strengths, weaknesses, interests, and specific learning goals. Here's how we implement this personalized program:
- Initial Assessment: We begin with a thorough initial assessment to identify each learner's language needs and individual learning objectives. This assessment includes an evaluation of existing language skills, specific communication needs, and short-term and long-term learning goals.
- Development of a Personalized Plan: Based on the assessment results, we develop a customized learning plan for each learner. This plan may include additional activities targeted at areas where the learner needs improvement, extra resources such as specific exercises, videos, or games, as well as individual tutoring sessions to provide additional support.
- Monitoring and Adjustment: We closely monitor the progress of each learner and regularly adjust the personalized plan based on their changing needs. This ensures that learning remains relevant and effective as the learner's language skills develop.
By combining the predefined school curriculum with an optional personalized program, our aim is to provide a holistic learning experience that addresses the unique needs of each learner while ensuring they achieve the required academic and language proficiency goals. This flexible and adaptive model aims to maximize the learning potential of each individual and promote their success in learning the English language.
