À propos de Mario
As a private tutor, my goal is to help each student progress with confidence, method, and a clear understanding of the subject. I do not believe in simple memorisation without comprehension. My teaching approach is based on explaining concepts in a structured and accessible way, so that students can truly understand what they are doing and gradually become more independent in their learning.
My teaching methods combine clear theoretical explanations, step-by-step problem solving, and regular practice adapted to the student’s level. I first identify the student’s strengths, difficulties, and objectives, then I adjust the lesson pace and focus accordingly. I pay particular attention to building strong foundations, because once the basics are solid, more advanced topics become much easier to master. I also encourage students to ask questions freely, as I believe a supportive learning environment is essential for real progress.
A typical lesson usually begins with a brief review of previous material or any difficulties the student has encountered. We then move on to the main topic of the session, starting with the underlying theory and followed by practical application through exercises, guided examples, or exam-style questions. During the lesson, I make sure the student is actively involved rather than simply listening passively. At the end, I summarise the key points and, when useful, give advice on how to revise effectively before the next session.
What distinguishes me as a tutor is my strong academic background in engineering, my analytical mindset, and my ability to explain challenging concepts in a simple, patient, and logical way. I am serious, reliable, and committed to helping students achieve concrete results. Beyond improving grades, I also aim to help students develop confidence, discipline, and a more effective way of studying.
