À propos de Saija
I work as a visual and performance artist in Paris. As my artistic practiced is movement based and body related, it was natural to me to become a yoga teacher. I have practiced different styles of yoga more than 15 years including ashtanga, vinyasa and hatha. I did my yoga teacher training (YTT200H) in Paris in the beginning of the year 2022. I have a strong physical training background from practicing gymnastics and dance the most of my life. Because of this background, I have personal experiences in different kinds of physical practices, the limits of the body, injuries and healing processes, which reflect strongly on my approach of teaching yoga today. I believe in a gentle yet dynamic approach, where the students listens to its own body, its own pace and limits.

I teach yoga as a concentration practice. It is both a physical and a spiritual practice, through which we can find peace, relaxation and energy to our being.
I give classes in a beautiful big studio in Aubervilliers in north of Paris (metro line 7), or at your place depending on your location. Individual or groups. You can also join my group class Wednesday nights in Bastille.
My class is both gentle and dynamic. We make the muscles strong so then we are capable to stretch safely. We practice breathing throughout the whole class. I put special awareness in concentration, giving you leads where to focus and place your mind into. Together with the breathing it will calm your mind and your body. The class is suitable for all levels, no need to have any previous experience in yoga.
