À propos d'Alp Dora
I am a master student in Universität Zürich and I have recently completed my master thesis in Chemistry. I have teaching experience before and during my university years. I have also taught natural sciences and math to visually impaired students during my bachelor studies. I have been playing classical guitar for 10 years. To summarize, I can teach subjects such as chemistry, math, physics or I can teach how to play classical/acoustic guitar.

I approach private lessons much differently than group lessons. In group lessons, I always teach general concepts of the subject and give many examples to help everyone in the group understand better. Then, it is very beneficial to make students work together and do exercises as multiple groups while they are in communication with each other.
In private one-on-one lessons, I explain the underlying principles for the subject in a detailed way. Once the student grasps the foundational knowledge, then the remaining knowledge is much easier to learn and apply. I always do my best to maintain good communication and teamwork between me and my students, so that the process is enjoyable and interactive for the student.
After every class, homework is given to reinforce the knowledge and memory of the student. This way, the lessons have a much greater chance to be beneficial long-term. Due to my responsibility, I am always available to my students if they have any questions.
