À propos de Sydney
I am a dedicated and enthusiastic educator who is passionate about helping students feel confident in their English abilities. With a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and a focus in English Language Arts, along with teaching experience in Taiwan and with ESL students, I bring both academic knowledge and real-world teaching experience to every lesson.
I understand that learning a new language can feel challenging, so I strive to create a patient, encouraging, and comfortable environment where students feel supported. I adapt my lessons to each student’s needs and experience level, whether they are looking to improve their conversation skills, academic English, reading, writing, or overall confidence.
I am currently pursuing a Master's degree in Educational Studies at KU Leuven, continuing to develop my understanding of effective teaching and learning. I would love the opportunity to help you reach your English-learning goals!

My teaching approach is personalized, supportive, and focused on building confidence in English. I tailor each lesson to the student’s individual goals and level.
Lessons may focus on conversation, pronunciation, grammar, reading, writing, vocabulary, or academic English. I typically begin with a short review or conversation, introduce the main topic, and then give students plenty of opportunities to practice and apply what they have learned.
I am happy to work with ESL learners of all levels. Since I teach exclusively in English, I use clear, simple language and adapt my lessons to each student’s current abilities. I have experience working with students with limited English proficiency and enjoy helping learners gradually build their communication skills, confidence, and overall English ability.
