During the course it is important to put the student in a friendly environment. They should feel free to ask even the stupidest questions.
I remember that during my bachelor's degree I tutored three Physics 1 courses, they asked me all kinds of questions and at the end of the semester they were able to solve the exercise.

My methodology is to get students to acquire their own method of problem solving. First I let students think about the problem for a few minutes, then I start asking a few questions about how they would carry it out to understand what reasoning they are following. Finally, if they have not arrived at the solution on their own, I make some tips.
My courses are intended for middle and high school students and bachelor's degree students.
