À propos de Jena
Hi! I’m Jena, an experienced English tutor based in Brussels with over 10 years of experience teaching children, teenagers, and adults of all levels. I’ve worked with students both in the United States and in Belgium, which has allowed me to adapt my teaching style to a wide range of backgrounds, learning styles, and goals.
My approach to teaching is patient, supportive, and confidence-focused. I believe that feeling comfortable and encouraged is key to making real progress, especially when learning a new language. I tailor each lesson to the individual student, whether they need help with schoolwork, grammar, reading and writing skills, pronunciation, or conversation practice.
I particularly enjoy working with students who feel shy, stuck, or unsure about their English, and I love helping them gain confidence and see their own progress. My goal is to make lessons both effective and enjoyable, creating a positive learning environment where students feel motivated and supported.
Outside of tutoring, I enjoy cooking and baking, going for runs, and listening to music — and I often bring real-life topics and interests into my lessons to keep them engaging and relevant. Whether you’re a parent looking for extra support for your child or an adult learner wanting to improve your English skills, I’d be happy to help!
