À propos de Miléna
Hi everyone ! My name is Miléna, I'm 32, I am from France and I've been living in South Africa for the past seven years. Living abroad has given me the opportunity to improve and master the English language, which I've been using on a daily basis. Learning English has broadened my horizon, opening the doors to many different cultures and enabling me to communicate with people of different nationalities - a real asset ! And this is my wish for you too ! When I first moved to South Africa, as a beginner's level student, I was confronted with all the challenges that come with the process of learning a foreign language. I had to face up to the fear of speaking in public, problems with pronunciation, grammar and I sometimes had difficulty understanding the people I was interacting with. I had to educate myself, practise, persevere and step by step my English skills improved and I was so greatly rewarded ! I have been teaching English online for the last two years, eager to help students meet the challenges of the learning process that I know so well. In order to acquire more teaching skills, I undertook a TEFL teacher training and I am now a certified English teacher. Outside the classroom, I am an artist who loves to travel and spend time in Nature, I offer foot reflexology treatments and I am currently training to become a qualified End-of-Life doula. I practise yoga, love gardening, reading and writing. I am very creative, thrive on variety and particularly enjoy being of service to others.

I create personalised lessons adapted to your goals, needs, and learning style. I use your interests and hobbies as material to design structured, engaging and interesting lessons. In addition, to make the classes fun and interactive, I use a variety of resources such as podcasts, visual aids, articles, YouTube videos related to the topics you'd like to cover. My aim is to help you improve your conversational and written expression skills as well as master grammar, the structuring of sentences and help you build your vocabulary range. My wish is to guide you in developing your skills and confidence in a safe, encouraging and relaxed environment. All your questions and mistakes are welcome in class. Don't be afraid to make mistakes, that's how we learn ! I will give you constructive feedback and provide clear answers to any questions you may have. I can teach beginner and intermediate students, up to level B2, and I am happy to work with children, teenagers and adults. If you think I am the right teacher for you, feel free to book a trial lesson with me so that we can discuss your goals and needs together and create a tailored and flexible learning plan. Je recommande vivement Milena qui m' permis de me réapproprier rapidement les bases de la conversation en anglais afin de pouvoir m'entretenir et comprendre ma famille anglaise par alliance. Elle m'a permis de développer ma compréhension orale par des écoutes audio et des conversations menées ensemble en anglais. Elle est rigoureuse sur les corrections à apporter sur le plan syntaxique et la prononciation. Elle s'est adaptée à mes demandes et besoins au fur et à mesure en me proposant des cours où l'écoute et la participation orale sont toujours prépondérantes. Actuellement, je poursuis mes cours avec Milena afin d'acquérir une plus grande aisance et justesse dans la conversation. Nous retravaillons régulièrement les notions et le vocabulaire appris facilitant ainsi la mémorisation. Elle est compétente, disponible , flexible et souriante.
