I am a recent IB graduate with strong academic results, including 7s in all Internal Assessments and an A in both TOK and my Biology Extended Essay. I specialise in HL Biology, Chemistry, and German B, alongside providing structured support for IA, EE, and TOK writing.
Having completed the IB recently, I have a clear understanding of current markschemes, examiner expectations, and common student mistakes. I focus on helping students translate their knowledge into high-scoring answers, which is often the key difference between a 5 and a 7.
I am organised, reliable, and adapt each lesson to the student’s needs. Sessions are structured, efficient, and focused on measurable progress—whether that is improving exam technique, strengthening weak topics, or refining coursework.
My goal is simple: help students achieve the highest grades they are capable of with clear strategy and consistent support.

My approach as a tutor is focused on helping students turn their knowledge into marks, which is often the biggest challenge in the IB. I prioritise exam technique alongside understanding, using past paper questions, markschemes, and targeted practice to show exactly what examiners are looking for. Rather than re-teaching entire topics, I identify weak areas quickly and explain them in a clear, structured way, ensuring students can apply the content confidently under exam conditions.
A typical lesson is structured and efficient. We begin by identifying specific gaps or reviewing recent work, followed by a focused explanation of a key concept or skill. The majority of the session is then spent on exam-style practice, where students apply what they have learned. I provide immediate, detailed feedback based on markschemes, showing how answers can be improved to reach the highest bands. Each lesson ends with clear next steps so students know exactly what to work on.
One of my key strengths is my familiarity with the current IB system and expectations, having recently completed it with strong results, including 7s in all Internal Assessments and an A in both TOK and my Biology Extended Essay. This allows me to guide students not only in understanding content, but also in structuring high-scoring answers and coursework. I focus on efficiency, clarity, and consistency, helping students make measurable progress rather than wasting time on unfocused revision.
My lessons are aimed at IB students (SL and HL), particularly those studying Biology, Chemistry, or Math, as well as anyone needing support with IA or EE writing.
They are especially suited for students aiming to improve their grades to a 6 or 7, or those who feel stuck despite putting in effort and need more strategic guidance on how to succeed.
