American English teacher with 24 years of experience gives English lessons from middle school to university in Paris

I am a retired English/Reading Specialist of 48 years! I have known Wendi for years! I was a colleague of hers for several years at Fort Herriman Middle School in Utah, USA. She was amazing! She is organized, very enthusiastic, quite knowledgeable, and is excellent at getting her students to participate in her classes.

She is a caring and compassionate person, which helps make her realize what her students need. Then she provides it for them in their education. She was considered a leader in our school among our faculty. She was involved in so much, and she organized activities for the entire school when she was the sponsor for the Student Council. Everyone respected her and were encouraged by her caring personality.

I can highly recommend Wendi Bergstrom for any teaching position. She would be amazing!

Wendi was the greatest teacher I've ever had. I took a few different classes from her, primarily French, and not only was she an excellent teacher, but she also taught me invaluable life-lessons that I still carry with me today. She inspired me to work hard and follow my dreams, and her classes single-handedly set me on a path that has led me to where I am at now. The main classes I took from Wendi were French classes, and I always looked forward to coming to school and taking her lessons. She taught me much more than French grammar and syntax - she taught me how to love the French culture and exposed me to a new worldview that I had not experienced. While my French speaking skills may not be as sharp as they were while I was studying, the real impact she left on my life was the joy and passion for travel and taking on new adventures. She does this by being passionate about what she is teaching, which is why she is such a great professor. I was able to see this firsthand when we got the opportunity to travel to France along with the rest of her French class, and I could see why she loves the culture so much. I could not recommend Wendi enough - not only is she a wonderful teacher, but she is also kind and dedicated to helping her students succeed. Future students would be lucky to have her as a guide in both learning and life!

I have known Wendi and taught with her for over 14 years in the USA. She is a brilliant and amazing teacher who got her professional education in France as well as in America. Not only is she extremely knowledgable, she is deeply dedicated to her students and passionate about making learning relevant as well as fun.
