My name is Amélia, I am a violin player
Currently doing my Master's at the Conservatorium of Gent, in the class of Lisa Jacobs
I come from Portugal, but I've lived in the Netherlands in the past 2 years. Was following studies at the Conservatorium of Utrecht.
I have experience with teaching the violin. Had students for 2 years with different ages and different violin playing skills.
Education
Completed High school in the Classical Music department, in Lisbon.
Propedeuse from Utrechts Conservatorium.
Bachelor diploma fromthe Conservatorium of Gent

For my lessons, I like to teach not only the violin but also some other important aspects of music, such as theory (solfege, singing, etc..) and contextualization (Music History facts that help develop the music understanding).
I try to encounter the students goals and keep a healthy environment in the lessons, in order to keep them motivated!!
