We have been very fortunate to have Solenne as my daughter's French tutor for almost two years now. The fact that we have been trusting her with M's tuition for so long speaks for itself and is a testament to the great experience we have had with Solenne. She is a well-organized and highly effective tutor, always identifying clear learning goals together with a student and mapping out a consistent learning path to achieve those. While being very kind and personable, she is also demanding and disciplined (although never intimidating). My daughter loves her classes, and her French has improved markedly since she started learning with Solenne. Solenne assisted her when preparing for her DELF B2 exam (which she has passed successfully) and is now supporting her with her IB Higher Level French. I have been enjoying on line french lessons with Solenne since October last year. I am an adult learner who had not studied French since doing an O level 50 years ago. I particularly wanted to work on my listening and speaking skills as in my day we never really got to try speaking the language.

Solenne has been my French tutor for over 5 years. My objective in starting French lessons was to improve my conversational skills and my comprehension of both the written and spoken language but in particular the latter. Solenne’s approach has been varied and stimulating. She has used different techniques eg:
- watching short news/information films and completing comprehension exercises both spoken and written;
- lessons covering aspects of grammar;
- conversation addressing a wide range of topics;
- studying articles from newspapers and magazines and discussing their content.
The lessons challenge me but enable me to see that progress is being made. Most of all they are enjoyable and never a chore.
Solenne is adaptable in her approach and listens to me as her student to ensure that the lessons fulfill my needs. I would recommend her as a tutor.
