À propos de Federico
My name is Federico and I am a professional and Award Winning saxophone player.
I worked at Koninklijk Conservatorium of Bruxelles as an Assistant Professor of Jeroen Van Herzeele the jazz saxophone professor.
I graduated at Conservatorio G.Martucci of Salerno (Italy) and had both Bachelor and Master with full marks with honors. During the course of my studies i also spent two academic years abroad , one at the Kask and Conservatorium of Ghent with the supervision of Bart Defoort and one at the Koninklijk Conservatorium of Bruxelles with John Ruocco.
In 2017 i won the "Massimo Urbani International Jazz Competition" prize that saw as head of the jury Kurt Rosenwinkel & Fabrizio Bosso.
I play in several Jazz bands and I have been performing all around Europe.
I recorded a solo album called "Right Now" with the famous Italian label "Philology Records" & the album"Supernova" with my own band. I also recorded several albums with different bands and of many styles, from jazz, funk to pop.
I toured with the famous Italian Drummer Tullio De Piscopo (Pino Daniele, Mina, Astor Piazzolla's drummer) and also had the chance to make a variety of television appearances on Italian National Television (Rai1, Rai5, Rai3).

- A.I.R. artist residency 2019/20 - MIDJ/SIAE ( Festival International de Jazz de Montréal & Italian Cultural Istitute of Montréal ).

- Audience Award Massimo Urbani International Jazz Competition 2017
- VitaVita Prize “Italian Young Talent” 2017

My lessons are focused on your needs. No matter if you just enjoy playing Saxophone or you need to Audition for the Conservatoire, I can help you! IF YOU DON'T HAVE THE INSTRUMENT, DON'T WORRY!! I have one just for you to practice with during our lessons.
We will study technique with special books I will provide, Music Theory with an eye on both classical and jazz genres to make sure you are a complete musician; Jazz Improvisation on Standards to sharpen the ability of playing on chords and scales.

Parfait ! Federico est une personne très clair dans sa pédagogie et c'est à mon humble avis un excellent musicien. On va commencer ensemble par un travail un peu technique et j'ai hate de progresser à ces côtés.
