I have been teaching French in Ireland, USA, and South America (Argentina, Chili, Brazil, Colombia) while I was travelling for the last 10 years.
I have teaching experience with adults, teenagers and children, of different levels: beginner, intermediate, advanced.

First we will discuss your needs and goals, you may want to learn French for specific need: practice your pronunciation, improve your conversation or understanding, getting ready for a professional interview, learn about some aspects of french culture, or just learn french for your own pleasure! :)
And then we can set together what your learning priorities are so you can quickly achieve your goals.
Usually I divide the lesson in 3 parts, first we will talk about our last lesson, if you have any questions, or if you didn’t understand something, just to be sure that everything is clear and understood before going on a new chapter/subject. We will also take the time to correct the exercice I gave you at the end of our last session (those exercices aren’t an obligation, some of you won’t have time for homework and it’s not a problem!).
Then we will start the lesson of the day: some of the subject can take one hour some others will take 4 hours, it will depends on the complexity of the lesson, and also on the student, we are all different and learning at our own pace!
We will end the session with some exercices to practice what you’ve just learned.
I’m a teacher but I’m also a student, I’m learning Spanish right now, so I know how difficult it is to learn a new language but also how exciting it is to be able to talk a different language!
I think that being a student also help me a lot to understand the needs of my students.

Bonjour!
I wanted to brush-up on my French for my visit to see relatives who recently moved to your AMAZING country!! After a few months of classes with Cindy I am more confident in speaking French in common situations, either having chats with locals in the most wonderful cafes or catching my train!. She is sweet, patient and such a detailed teacher, merci beaucoup Cindy pour ton aide!My husband and I took French with Cindy for about 3 months.
She is a great teacher! Very thorough, patient and understanding. She made learning a new language fun and she has a great sense of humour!J'aimerai recommander Cindy, car j'ai amélioré mon français avec elle à Paris en 2018. J'ai pris les cours pendant presque 8 mois le soir. C'est un professeur qui est à l'écoute et très douce. Ses cours sont structurés et tres sérieux. Encore merci!
