À propos de Vincent
I come from Taiwan and Mandarin Chinese is my mother tongue. I hold a Master's degree in civil engineering and I have some experience in tutoring students learning Chinese. Most of the students I tutored had basic Chinese knowledge, however I can also help beginners to start learning Chinese.

I find important to first understand the students’ needs. I always discuss with them on which aspects they want to work and how they can progress during the class. I also explain them how I usually teach. For example, if a student wants to improve his or her reading comprehension, my methodology is to explain the structure of the sentences of a text, to highlight the key vocabulary and to create some exercises to practice using the new vocabulary in different contexts. I also prepare handouts to help them memorize and review the newly learned characters or grammatical points.
If a student wants to practice speaking Chinese, I help him or her with the pronunciation and correct the grammar. I also help the student practice his or her vocabulary through dialogues.
However, I don’t focus only on theory. I also help students to learn practical Chinese and vocabulary for their daily life. In other words, I equip students with vocabulary that they can use in real life situations.
I am very patient and passionate about teaching my mother tongue. I will be happy to help you in your learning.
