Hi! My lessons are designed for anyone who wants to learn Japanese through English. Whether you are an absolute beginner or looking to polish your conversation skills, I adjust the balance of English and Japanese to match your comfort level.

1. Certified Experience: I have experience as a Teaching Assistant for Japanese courses at my university in Japan, supporting international students of all levels.
2. Learner’s Perspective: I am currently a student in Portugal learning Portuguese and English. I know how challenging it is to learn a new language, so I teach with patience, empathy, and clarity!
3. Tailor-made Curriculum: No "one-size-fits-all." We focus on YOUR goals—travel, JLPT, business, or just casual conversation about culture and anime.
What a typical lesson looks like:
1. Warm-up & Review: We check your progress and set the goal for the day.
2. Core Content: Grammar, vocabulary, or speaking practice with practical examples.
3. Active Practice: You do the talking! I provide instant, gentle corrections and feedback.
4. Summary & Homework: A recap of what we learned and optional tasks to keep you consistent.

Hi! I teach Japanese in English for learners.
I have experience teaching Japanese to Japanese learners, so I understand common struggles (particles, verb forms, polite vs casual speech, natural phrasing) and how to fix them efficiently.
In our lessons, I’ll tailor the content to your goals (travel, daily conversation, study, JLPT support, writing, or pronunciation).
My style is structured but friendly—so you can ask questions anytime.
I can help with:
・Absolute beginners → confident basics
・Conversation Grammar: particles, verb conjugations, politeness
・Reading & writing: hiragana/katakana/kanji support
I am currently studying in Portugal, so I understand how difficult it is to learn a language that is completely different from your mother tongue. I can support you with patience and empathy! (I have studied French and am studying Portuguese.)
