I am a qualified primary school teacher with 12 years of experience helping children build confidence and achieve their potential. I provide engaging, personalised online tuition in English and Maths, tailoring every lesson to each child's individual needs and learning style.
I believe that children learn best when they feel supported, encouraged and challenged in equal measure. My calm, patient and approachable teaching style helps pupils develop confidence while making learning enjoyable.
Whether your child needs extra support, wants to strengthen key skills or is looking to extend their learning, I am committed to helping them make meaningful progress in a positive and nurturing environment.

As a qualified primary school teacher with 12 years of classroom experience, I believe every child learns differently. My approach to tutoring is centred around building confidence, developing strong foundations, and creating a positive learning environment where children feel comfortable asking questions and challenging themselves.
I tailor every lesson to the individual pupil's needs, learning style and pace. Before we begin, I take time to understand each child's strengths, areas for development and learning goals. My lessons are interactive, engaging and structured to keep children motivated while making learning enjoyable.
A typical lesson begins with a brief review of previous learning before introducing a new concept through clear explanations, practical examples and guided practice. We then work together on targeted activities, gradually encouraging greater independence. Lessons finish with a recap of key learning points and, where appropriate, suggestions for practice between sessions.
My teaching combines proven classroom strategies with engaging online resources, ensuring lessons are both effective and enjoyable. I focus on developing understanding rather than memorisation, helping children become confident, independent learners.
I specialise in tutoring Primary English and Maths. In English, I can support reading, phonics, comprehension, grammar, spelling, punctuation, writing and speaking skills. In Maths, I help pupils develop fluency, reasoning and problem-solving skills, building confidence with concepts from the primary curriculum.
My lessons are suitable for children across the primary age range, whether they need additional support, want to consolidate classroom learning, prepare for SATs or entrance assessments, or simply wish to extend their knowledge and confidence.
Above all, I aim to make every lesson enjoyable, encouraging and personalised so that each child feels successful and motivated to achieve their full potential.
