Bonjour ! My name is Garance, I'm from a little town in France on the Atlantic coast. I've been living in Mexico for six years and that's how I started teaching french.
I really enjoy discovering different cultures and learning new languages, that’s also why I love my profession. I learn a lot from my students, about their culture and lifestyle. Sharing our points of view makes classes really interesting!

I have been teaching my mother tongue for almost five years. I have a Master degree in teaching French as a Foreign Language. I'm also a certified examiner for the official French language diplomas DELF and DALF, which means that I can efficiently prepare you to pass the exams for these certifications.
In order to help you learn French in a fun and efficient way, I use the task-based method. This means that you won’t just repeat what I say in French and learn it by heart; by using authentic documents you will be able to find out by yourself what to say in French to complete a real task - writing a food critic about a restaurant on Tripadvisor for example.
The idea is also to only speak French during the class so you can learn it “naturally”, instinctively and avoid translating from your language into French.
Nevertheless, private lessons are customisable in order to fit the students needs. This is why I always try to find what would be the easiest and most pleasant way for each of you to learn the language!
I also love chatting and debating about tons of different subjects so if your goal is to practice your French through conversation, I will be glad to help you!
