À propos de Bettina
Hello, I’m Bettina, a native German teacher based in Germany. I teach German as a foreign language online and specialise in working with adult learners.
From November 2026, I am offering new small online German courses with a maximum of 4 adults per group. You learn in a stable group with plenty of speaking time and individual feedback, while also benefiting from interaction with other learners.
My offer at a glance
• Small fixed online groups for adults – maximum 4 learners
• 10-week course with one fixed online lesson per week
• Introductory price: 150 € per person for the full 10-week course
• Regular price: 200 € per person for 10 weeks
• Personal support and a digital learning environment between lessons
• Lessons are conducted in German, with English support available when needed
If you are interested in joining one of the new small groups, you are very welcome to contact me. We can then see whether your current level, learning goals and schedule are a good match for one of the groups.

About me
I completed a university teacher-training degree in German and Biology and passed the German State Examination (Staatsexamen) for teaching at secondary schools.
In addition, I successfully completed the Goethe-Institut’s Deutsch Lehren Lernen (DLL) professional development programme for teachers of German as a foreign and second language.
My professional background combines education, science and information management. This also influences the way I teach: I enjoy explaining complex structures clearly, organising learning in a logical way and helping my students develop a learning path that provides orientation and supports sustainable progress.
At the same time, I believe that successful language learning needs more than good materials and grammar explanations. A respectful atmosphere, patience and an understanding of different learning styles are equally important to me.
German is my native language. Especially with beginners, I can also use English as a support language when needed. I do not speak French, so communication with me is in German or English.
About the lessons
My lessons combine clear structure with personal and individual support.
Grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, listening and reading comprehension as well as spoken and written communication are not treated as isolated areas. Instead, I connect them in a way that helps learners understand how the language works and use it actively.
Depending on your goals, the focus can include conversation, systematic development of your German from A1 to C2, grammar and vocabulary, German for university or professional purposes, or preparation for examinations such as Goethe, telc, DTZ, TestDaF and DSH.
Individual online lessons are also available à 40 € / 50 minutes.
Small-group courses
The new small-group courses are designed for adults who would like to learn regularly in a small, stable group rather than in a large class.
With a maximum of four participants, there is enough time for everyone to speak, ask questions and receive individual feedback. At the same time, you benefit from learning together, practising with other learners and following a structured course over several weeks.
Between the live lessons, you will also have access to my digital learning environment, where I provide important information, links and selected learning materials.
My aim is to create small groups in which the participants have a similar language level and compatible learning goals.
If this sounds like the kind of German course you are looking for, feel free to send me a message and tell me a little about your current level and your goals.
I look forward to hearing from you!
