We are thrilled to announce that our table is hosted by Ingrid Beauvez, a prominent, high-class English and communication coach with 30 years of professional experience. Ingrid holds Master's degrees in psycholinguistics and conference interpreting. She has coached and interpreted for top-ranking global leaders and public figures, including:
Angela Merkel (German Chancellor)
Jacques Santer (Head of the European Commission)
Admiral James Stavridis (NATO Supreme Commander Europe)
Belgian Prime Ministers Jean-Luc Dehaene and Wilfried Martens
Ingrid has worked extensively with major international organisations like the United Nations, the European Union, and Nato. She is also the author of the acclaimed Learn the Ropes manual collection. You will be in expert, encouraging, and supportive hands !

Are you looking to boost your confidence, speak everyday English naturally, and meet wonderful people in your community? Forget stressful classrooms and strict grammar rules. Welcome to The English Round Table—the perfect Saturday afternoon wind-down. Once the weekly shopping and cleaning are done, join us to chat, laugh, and socialise in a warm, welcoming atmosphere.
The Experience ️️
At the start of each meeting, we decide our focus together based on your wishes. If you don't have a specific request, here is what we have lined up for our relaxed 1.5-hour sessions:
First Half: Chat, play games, and discuss funny or thought-provoking videos packed with real-world, practical idioms. Then, you get precious feedback from Ingrid to improve your English.
Second Half: Dive deeper with the coursebook How to Speak and Write Clearly. Practice sharing your thoughts with the group as if it were a short easy public talk, discuss your own communication experiences, such as, for example, how to explain an issue to a colleague or to your boss, how to explain something you need from hotel staff when you travel, answer questions at an exam, present a project at an interview, tell an amazing story to people you meet when travelling,... the list is endless. Then, of course, we wrap up with more friendly feedback.
The Details
When: Every Saturday from 6th June 2026. ️
Time: 14:30 to 16:00.
Where: La Clairière de Dana, 50 rue de Limauges, Court-Saint-Etienne
Flexibility: Ultimate holiday flexibility ! Pay for 10 sessions, but choose your dates from 12 available Saturdays. If you go on holiday, you won't lose your session️️. After your 10 sessions, you can buy your next batch of sessions until you are fully confident your English is puuurrfect !
Limited Spots for Quality Conversations
We need a minimum of 5 participants to open the course, so please spread the word and invite your friends or neighbours ! We cap the group at a maximum of 7 participants to keep our conversations intimate, comfortable, and high-quality. Secure your spot early !
Pricing & Booking
Investment: €10 per hour (= €15 per 90-minute session) excluding Vat. 🪙
Total for 10 sessions, non-refundable: €150 + 21% Vat if applicable.
Bonus: Students are exempt from Vat (Art. 44), and Vat-registered freelancers or businesses can claim it back !

Rsvp Deadline: Bookings close on 5th June at 18:00 hrs. If you wish to join later in the year, please contact the organiser.
How to get your book: 2 options
Option 1: Order it online (ask the organiser for your link to the ad hoc sales platform). There, you can also get the audiobook, an excellent way to practice your listening comprehension skills and to revise or be ahead of class when you are on the move !
Option 2: Bring €12 exactly in cash to our 1st meeting = €3 discount
The Venue: La Clairière de Dana
We are fortunate to host our sessions at La Clairière de Dana in Court-Saint-Etienne. Nestled in a wooded area, this artists' house is the ultimate place to disconnect, relax, and recharge with nature. It provides a perfect backdrop for our conversations. We can even meet outdoors on the terraces when the weather is good.
