À propos d'Huijun
I am a singer, composer, improviser and guzheng player based in Brussels. My musical journey bridges Chinese traditional music and contemporary jazz, bringing together different cultural perspectives through voice, improvisation and storytelling.
I hold a Diploma in Jazz Vocal from the Royal Conservatory of Brussels (Belgium) and previously earned a Diploma in Pop Singing from Sichuan Normal University (China). I was also classically trained as a guzheng player from a young age, which continues to shape my musical language and artistic sensitivity.
Beyond vocal technique, my teaching explores the connection between voice, breath, body awareness and creativity. Combining both structured methodology and embodied listening, I encourage students to develop not only their vocal skills, but also confidence, musicality and a genuine joy in expressing themselves. Whether you are interested in pop, jazz, improvisation or simply discovering your own voice, my lessons offer a supportive and inspiring space to explore, create and grow.

The Human Voice has an intimate and emotional connection with our physical body and mentality. Whenever we express ourselves through speaking, singing, improvising or simply long to express what words cannot, the voice is one of the most direct and authentic ways to connect with ourselves and with others.
Drawing on my professional training in Jazz Vocal at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels, my background in Chinese traditional music, and years of personal practice in yoga and qigong, I have developed an organic, embodied approach to vocal expression. Rather than focusing only on vocal technique, I guide students to explore the relationship between breath, body awareness, deep listening, and the natural flow of energy (Qi). Through this process, the voice becomes freer, more grounded, and more expressive.
My lessons are open to singers of all levels, as well as anyone who wishes to reconnect with their voice. Whether your goal is to sing, improvise, build confidence, or discover a more authentic way of expressing yourself, I offer a supportive and creative space where curiosity and individuality are encouraged.

Jun is an amazing teacher, with a very special approach!
I'm a professional musician and teach music in a jazz conservatory, but I have been following her voice lessons in order to connect better with the body, and it's been a really unique experience.
She combines a great knowledge of jazz music, popular music and free improvisation with a mindful sensitivity to the body, and to the presence of the person she is working with. Her approach is syncretic, bringing together body-based awareness exercises coming from yoga, dance, and meditation with the experience of being a professional musician and improviser with a great intelligence.
