I hold a Master's in Mathematical Modelling and Scientific Computing from Oxford and a Pedagogical Master's from HEP Vaud. I currently teach mathematics in Vaud public schools and have tutored students since 2023 in IB Maths HL/SL, the French Baccalaureate, and IGCSE. I'm bilingual in French and English, patient, and focused on building lasting understanding rather than short-term fixes.

I teach mathematics in Lausanne and the surrounding area, for all secondary levels. Lessons available in French or English.
I hold a Master's in Mathematical Modelling and Scientific Computing from the University of Oxford, and a Pedagogical Master's in mathematics education for upper secondary from HEP Vaud (2026). I currently teach in Vaud public schools (gymnases and vocational schools).
I've been tutoring students since 2023 in IB Maths HL and SL, as well as the French Baccalaureate and IGCSE, at several international schools around Lake Geneva. I also prepare students for gymnase entrance exams.
My approach: start from what the student already understands, pinpoint exactly where it breaks down, and build a working method they can use on their own afterward. No rote drilling, the goal is for concepts to stick beyond the exam.
Available on weekdays and weekends, [in-person in Lausanne and surrounding areas / online / both].

Au collège déjà, les maths n'allaient pas. Je suis arrivé au gymnase avec ces lacunes jamais réglées, et ça commençait à peser sérieusement sur mes notes. Avec Jonathan, on a repris depuis la base, sans sauter d'étapes, jusqu'à ce que je comprenne vraiment ce que je faisais et pas juste par cœur. J'ai fini par obtenir ma maturité, et aujourd'hui je suis en première année de médecine à Lausanne.
I got a 6/7 in IB Maths HL after my school predicted me a 4. Thanks to that grade I got into EPFL, and I'm really thankful for that. Jonathan always came prepared with loads of explanations and loads of patience. He never made me feel stupid for not understanding something the first time, he'd just find another way to explain it until it clicked. Couldn't have done it without him.
