During my three weeks in San Antonio de Areco I followed daily Spanish classes on week days with Patricia. She is an exceptional teacher. Always happy, well prepared and organised. She’s very funny and speaks English very well (the best I have encountered in Argentina), which all made being her student super easy and fun. She listens to what your preferences are and what you want to achieve and makes your schedule accordingly, but to be honest most of the time she knew what I wanted before I did. The Spanish lessons truly come to live, which almost makes it feel like you’re not learning. Rather experiencing, even though you are learning a great deal during the experience. Since I was training horses and playing polo everyday I didn’t get to do so many of the other options Patricia offers. If not, I probably would’ve done all of them. We did go shopping, went out for lunch (the moment was captured on her current profile picture), to a silver smith and to the museum of Gauchesco Ricardo Güiraldes (writer of Don Segundo Sombra). Great ways to experience Argentinian culture. Patricia really goes above and beyond, trying to make your stay the best as it can be for you personally. I always looked forward to going to her lessons and wish I could’ve stayed longer to learn more from her. Hopefully, we’ll be able to continue online, or maybe someday in real life again. Not only is she an excellent teacher, but she is also a wonderful person! She is a passionate teacher who enjoys helping her students and always encourages them to go beyond. Plus, she's very resourceful and makes sure her students have fun in the lessons. 100% recommend her!

I know Patricia by taking Spanish lessons from her in autumn of 2019 in her home. Part of the lessons were in a group, and some of the lessons were private.
Patricia is a very vivacious, energetic teacher with a good command of English, as well as Spanish.
Her lessons took us out of the classroom and into the town and community where she lives in her goal to teach us how to "live our Spanish" in restaurants, shops, etc. She also taught us a lot about the local history and culture.
She did everything she could to make us comfortable and happy. I thoroughly enjoyed the lessons!

"I had a brilliant 4 days (10 hrs in total) learning Spanish with Pato in March 2020. First of all Pato is a lovely person, very welcoming, personable and lively. She immediately put me at ease and by the time I left I felt like an extended part of her family. Secondly, Pato really knows how to teach and has excellent technical knowledge and was able to express that fluently to me in English, which really helped. She used fun and inventive ways to help learn. My favourite was studying verb endings and pronunciation in song lyrics and then singing it together. Chan Chan by Buena Vista Social Club (my choice) has never sounded so good! I just wish I could have stayed longer. Finally, not only do you get some excellent Spanish lessons but Pato goes out of her way to accommodate you and ensure you enjoy your time in San Antonio de Areco. It was like having a personal concierge, with amazing local tips, introductions, shopping trips and organising tennis and horse riding lessons for me at a very reasonable rate. I had lessons with Patricia for two weeks whilst I was in Argentina travelling. I would absolutely recommend Patricia. She is professional, enthusiastic and made the lessons and language learning so much fun. She arranged for me to go horse riding, do Yoga and take a painting class to help improve my Spanish. Afterwards I was much more confident in speaking and wanted to continue learning.
