À propos de Sara
I am a cellist originally from Philadelphia, USA. I have studied in the USA, in The Netherlands, and am completing my Master's Degree currently at the Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel (Royal Conservatory of Brussels). I have extensive experience as an orchestral musician, chamber musician, soloist and teacher. Please read below for further background and information.

I believe that music is a holistic practice, meaning that it requires our entire being, and therefore when teaching and learning music, the whole person must be addressed. This includes the mechanics of playing an instrument, musical and artistic expression, health and wellness, concentration and focus, as well as individual approach and learning style. I have learned from some of the best cellists in the world, but have also found my own way to approach music that fits me personally. I hope that I can not only pass on my knowledge as a cellist and musician, but also that I can give you (or your child) the tools to carve out your own path in music. I have many years of experience teaching privately. I studied a course of Cello Pedagogy at the Peabody Conservatory (where I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Cello Performance) and have taught privately since. I also have training in the Suzuki Method (Every Child Can!) and taught music at the summer program of "Al-Bustan Seeds of Culture" in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
