I am Halyna and I came from Ukraine, however my mother tongue is Russian, but I do speak Ukrainian too.
To make a long story short, I am looking for people who can share their passion for languages with me.
If one day someone asked me "hey, what are you obsessed with?" I woud reply without any hesitation "I am crazy about languages":)
So, teaching Russian and English (I could try to help you with Ukrainian too) is more than just a way of making living for me, it is really something that could provide me with a great pleasure and satisfaction, and something that could make me happy:)
I am not going to teach you these "robot's" phrases, it's really not my intention, I would love you to try to feel language, try to read between the lines, try to reveal the real meaning hidden behind the letters, words and phrases:) This is my objectif, the goal number one! But it does not mean that I am going to take a total control of what we are going to do with you guys, because I am deeply convinced that in order to make a real progress we must work together, I will definitely work hard in order to improve your linguistic skills but I am very demanding with my students too:) So lets work in a team:)
P.S. I do speak French too, I passed DELF B2 at the end of last year, my score was 88 out of 100 so if you need to get any explanations in French there is no problem for me at all.
Guys here you have some information about getting possible reductions
For one hour the price is 15 euros
If you pay straight away for 5/10 hours it will cost you 70/140 euros respectively
If you have a friend whose level of Russian/English the same as yours and both of you want to achieve the same objectif, then lets meet together. In this case it will be a group lesson which will cost for both of you 20 euros or 10 euros for each of you
And the last offer but not the least one
If you like my lessons and you recommend it to your friends or family and one of them comes in order to take the first course with me, you will get one hour for free:)
Guys let me make something clear from the very beginning, I am not a professional Russian/English teacher but I have got some kind of work experience by giving English lessons for 2 years to mostly russian speaking children, as an example first of all I helped them with homeworks and explained some important grammar rules that they had not really got while receiving lessons in a classroom.
Apart from that we shared really cool moments of learning together through speaking, reading, watching, listening, repetition whatever, eventually through living the language. My goal was to make them feel comfortable while making linguistic mistakes. In my personal opinion, if you can help especially a beginner to get rid of the fear to speak the learning language it is 60 % of success.
I did have some adults as my students as well. Mostly it was a help with Russian but I did teach some Engish to Spanish/French speaking people too.
I am pretty sure I mentioned everything that I wanted and everything that I considered as an important stuff to know for my future students
If you have any other questions please feel free to contact me and ask me anything that you would ever like to know. I will be happy to answer any of your questions:)
Now, let me please make a kind of conclusion
Being a Russian speaking human being I would love to help you with this in my opinion truly great language! I do agree that every language is great and that is why I am speaking fluently four languages and I do understand a lot of things in Dutch although I cannot express myself properly enough but it is my challenge for the near future:)
Let me finish with a proverb "The stength of a person is in his intelligence and his tongue".
So guys lets share our passion for languages, lets speak more languages in the way that makes us stronger, smater and eventially more interesting for our future interlocutors:)
Good luck with languages whatever your purpose is:)
